Muscone has the function of opening orifices, activating collaterals, detumescence and relieving pain. Small Dose has excitatory effect on central nerve, large dose has inhibitory effect

It has the function of dilating coronary artery and increasing coronary blood flow, and has certain curative effect on Angina Pectoris. It is generally effective within 5 minutes after administration (sublingual and Aerosol inhalation) and is similar to the nitroglycerin in relieving Angina.
